Dr. Amanda Olsen knew she wanted to be a veterinarian at the age of 5, and shadowing her local veterinarian during surgery at the age of 11 solidified her passion. A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine with clinical training at Texas A&M, Dr. Olsen is particularly interested in surgery, preventative medicine, and dentistry. Dr. Olsen’s favorite part of being a veterinarian is building lasting relationships with both pets and their families. When she’s not at the hospital, you’ll find her baking, catching Broadway shows, or at home with her two dogs: Butternut (a rescue from Nevis who loves strawberries) and Dart, her golden retriever who’s obsessed with fetch.
